New Isuzu DMAX Introduced to Turkish Media
The new Isuzu D-MAX pickups were introduced
to the national press with an impressive organisation held
in Istanbul Turkey, in May 2007. Mr Ken Takashami, the Vice
President of the Executive Board of Isuzu Operations Thailand,
was also in Istanbul to attend the organisation as the guest
of honour.
Anadolu Isuzu, which is producing and marketing
N Series Isuzu trucks and light trucks in Turkey for more
than 23 years, held an organisation in Saklikoy Country Club
to introduce Isuzu DMAX with the new Euro 4 engine and the
new outlook to the Turkish media. During the event the members
of the Turkish media found the opportunity to test the new
DMAX in the off-road test course prepared for them.
Isuzu DMAX pickups have gradually increased
its market share in Turkey since its debut in April 2004
and became the market leader finally, by March 2007. “Anadolu
Isuzu’s targets will be higher in coming years thanks to
the increasing level of cooperation with Isuzu Motors” as
Mr M. Kamil Eser, the President of Automotive Group in Anadolu
Group and the Chairman of Anadolu Isuzu Board of Directors,
mentioned in his speech at the event.
Anadolu Isuzu is rewarded by the “Execellent
Performance Award” in appreciation for the outstanding ‘Order
Performance’ of Isuzu DMAX among the European distributors
in 2006. Mr Takashima presented the award to Mr Omer Lutfu
Ablay, the General Manager of Anadolu Isuzu, during the event.
Anadolu Isuzu had also been awarded in 2005, in appreciation
for the outstanding ‘Sales Growth’ of Isuzu DMAX.
