“Economic Driving Techniques” Trainings Continue in Anadolu Isuzu Academy

Turkey’s leading commercial vehicles producer, Anadolu Isuzu, continues to provide the Economic Driving Trainings in order to increase the fuel consumption efficiency and driving safety for its customers.

Anadolu Isuzu provides Economic Driving Techniques trainings to its fleet customers in order to support their efforts to lower down the fuel consumption and to enhance their attention on certain driving safety measures.

The trainings are held under the supervision of the training engineers in the Isuzu Academy Turkey. As the first step of the training programme, trainees make a test drive in the factory’s test course with an Isuzu N-series truck. The fuel consumption of each driver is being recorded with the help of a computer mounted on the vehicle. Afterwards, the drivers are subject to a theoretical training in the Academy. Following the theoretical training, the drivers test the vehicle once more in order to use what they have learned in the class. The outcome is always a great suprise for the drivers.

Academy Isuzu trainers mention that in case of applying the correct gear and speed options and using the economic driving techniques, it is possible to lower the fuel consumption by 60 percent. Moreover as the exhaust gas output will also be reduced, thanks to the economic driving techniques, the environmental risk can be lower by 14,5 times.

Anadolu Isuzu Sales and Marketing Director Mr Fatih Tamay and Marketing Manager Mr Efe Yazici also participated to the last training session held in Isuzu Academy. Mr Yazici rewarded the trainee, who had the highest score on fuel efficiency, with a plaquette in the memory of the training.
