Isuzu Vehicles Impressed Visitors at CV Istanbul 2007
Turkish Automotive Manufacturers Association, one of Turkey’s most influential authorities for automotive industry, held Istanbul Commercial Vehicles and Components Fair 2007 (C.V. Istanbul) between November 21 and 25.
Turkey’s leading commercial vehicles manufacturing and marketing company, Anadolu Isuzu, exhibited twelve Isuzu vehicles during C.V. Istanbul 2007. Four N Series light-duty trucks, four D-MAX pickups and four medium-sized Isuzu buses were displayed at Anadolu Isuzu’s 1105 square meter stand. The highlights of the Isuzu stand were brand new 9 meter midibus, “Citimark”, which is designed completely in Turkey and the DMAX 4x4 pickups which were beatifully equipped with the original accessories.
Vice-president of Isuzu Motors Limited, Mr Goro Shintani, honoured the opening day ceremony with his presence and joined to the press meeting held in the fair ground, together with Mr Kamil Eser, the Chairman of the automotive group in Anadolu Group.
During the press meeting Mr Shintani pointed out that altough the Turkish automotive market was shrinking recently, Anadolu Isuzu’s sales and market share were growing. “Today Anadolu Isuzu is our best distirbutor in Europe” he added. “We have overcome the crisis in Turkey by growing further with Anadolu Group. Our relationship is in a new era. Next year we are planing to begin the production of DMax pickups in Turkey together with N Series trucks and midibuses” informed Mr Shintani.
Anadolu Isuzu is manufacturing N series light-duty trucks and four main models of medium-sized buses under the licence agreement with Isuzu Motors Limited since 1984. Anadolu Isuzu is one of the leading DMAX pickup importers in European region as well. |
