Anadolu Isuzu’s new General Manager
takes Office
By the 1st of July 2006 Mr Ömer Lütfü Ablay
takes place of Mr M. Kamil Eser, the former General Manager
of Anadolu Isuzu Company. Following the retirement of Mr
Metin Ecevit due to the age limit, the Anadolu Isuzu’s General
Manager Mr Eser has been promoted to Mr Ecevit’s position
as the new President for the Automotive Group in the Anadolu
Group Holding. Mr Eser’s empty seat at the Anadolu Isuzu
Company will be occupied by Mr Ablay, who has been working
in the company for sixteen years on different positions,
lastly as the Manager of the Purchasing Department. Mr Ecevit
will keep his seat in the Anadolu Isuzu’s Board of Directors.
The changes at the top of the organisation
gave way to two new posts in the company. The former Plant
Manager Mr Ergun Tokan has been promoted to a new office
as the Technical Director, where Operations, Engineering,
Quality Control and R&D Departments will be liable to.
Former Sales Manager Mr Fatih Tamay has been promoted to
the other new office as the Director of Sales, After Sales
and Marketing. Sales, Marketing and After Sales Departments
will report directly to Mr Tamay. Mr Eser, Mr Ablay, Mr Tokan
and Mr Tamay will be in charge of their new offices by July
2006.
Stating the company’s recent success in both
domestic and foreign markets, Mr Ablay mentioned that, without
losing its momentum, Anadolu Isuzu will continue to follow
its goal to be the number one commercial vehicle manufacturing
company in Turkey in its class, while putting the environment,
the qulity and the customer satisfaction first.
