New Sales and After Sales premises Investment in Romania

Anadolu Isuzu’s distributor in Romania, “Anadolu Automobil Rom Srl” finalised the construction of its new sales and service facilities in Bucharest. The new plaza in Bucharest is the largest AIOS sales and service center in Europe up to present. The new plaza was opened with a remarkable ceremony on 10 May 2007.

The total project will worth about 6 millon Euro when the construction of additional buildings are finished. The premises were built over 30,000 m2 land. The showroom of the plaza is about 500 m2, while the service area is 1200 m2. The office area for the Romania HQ is 800 m2. The facilities also include a spare parts warehouse, ITP station, a body workshop and a painting workshop.

Huseyin Aykol, the owner of the Anadolu Automobil Rom Srl, had a success story in Romania, being the leader midibus dealer in his market in 2005 and 2006. The new premises will certainly strenghten Mr Aykol’s position in the Romanian market.

The guests of the opening ceremony were Mr M Kamil Eser - the President of Automotive Group in the Anadolu Group, and the Chairman of Anadolu Isuzu (AIOS) Board of Directors, Mr Omer Ablay - the General Manager of AIOS, Mr Fatih Tamay – the Director of Sales, Marketing and After Sales, Mr Tunc Karabulut – Manager of Export Department and Mr Efe Yazici – Manager of Marketing Department, Mr Ahmet Rifat Okcun, Ambassador of Turkey to Romania, and Mr Makoto Yto, Japanese Consul to Bucharest.
