Isuzu Truck (UK) Wins Customer Service Award
The Daily Telegraph, the U.K.'s best-selling
newspaper, presented Isuzu Truck (UK) Ltd. with its 2000 UK Customer
Service Award in the category of retail and distribution companies
with fewer than 50 employees.
The Daily Telegraph holds the competition every
year to recognize companies/organizations that provide outstanding
service in the private and public sectors.
Isuzu Truck was short-listed from a field of 242
contestants and competed against 62 companies in the final round.
Judges confirmed the companies' customer care standards in various
ways, including anonymous checks and customer interviews.
The judging panel chairman commented. "Isuzu's
dealer network is targeted and audited on the quality of their customer
care. Isuzu also 'incentivizes' their staff on repeat business,
putting the emphasis on providing outstanding customer service to
existing customers."
